Abstract

Injuries to the tarsometatarsal joint (Lisfranc injuries) are an important and common injury in the athlete. Vigilant evaluation and diagnosis are critical to assure good outcomes. In general, surgical management is indicated in cases where instability is confirmed or strongly suspected. The focus of this chapter is on surgical management and rehabilitation techniques for Lisfranc injuries in the athletic population.
