Abstract

A 28-year-old female presented with diplopia for 3 years. The patient was a high myope with best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) of 6/18, N6 in the right eye (RE) and 5/60, N36 in the left eye (LE). RE showed mild inferotemporal ectopia lentis with zonular dialysis of 2 clock hours and LE showed moderate temporal ectopia lentis with zonular dialysis of 6 clock hours, with cataractous changes in both eyes. Systemic examination was unremarkable with no trauma history. Patient underwent phacoemulsification with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation with capsular tension ring in RE and lensectomy with pars plana vitrectomy and secondary IOL implantation (CM T-Flex IOL) in LE.
