Abstract

Objective To establish the arterialized liver transplantation model in mice. Methods On the basis of two cuff orthotopic liver transplantation in mice, graft aorta end-to-side anastomosis to recipient aorta was applied to reconstruct hepatic artery. Twenty-four h-, 1 week-, 1 month-postoperative survival rate, hepatic function, and pathological changes were observed. Sham operation group was set up. Results 94.3% ,91.4% and 85.7% of recipients survived after 48 h,one week and one month ,respec-tively. The liver functioned normally after one month postoperatively. Pathologically, the hepatic tissue had good structure. Conclusion It is an ideal mothods to establish the arterialized orthotopic liver transplanta-tion model in mice.
