Abstract
A typical case of Sturge-Weber syndrome has been presented. This case involved a large intraoral hemangioma and a large proliferating tumorous mass overlying the hemangioma which was surgically excised. Preoperative preparation of acrylic splints and a careful technique to accomplish hemostasis were employed. Surgical excision of the hemangioma was accomplished with minimal blood loss. No recurrence of the mass was evident at the time of a 5 year postoperative examination.
