Abstract

Editorial Comment: Most men requiring surgical reconstruction for Peyronie’s disease have curvature less than 60 degrees without significant hourglass deformity. Use of either a simple “16-dot” plication procedure or insertion of an inflatable penile prosthesis (with modeling if necessary) usually achieves excellent results. Graft procedure are technically much more demanding and carry additional risks, and, thus, should generally be performed in a subspecialty setting.
