Abstract
• Hierarchical FER nano-sheets were prepared using piperidine and CTABr . • FER nano-sheets were ~10 nm in thickness, exhibiting abundant interparticle porosity . • Addition of CTABr promoted the zeolite FER crystallization . • Hierarchical FER nano-sheets exhibited improved accessibility of the active sites . • This method is facile, cost-effective and easy for scale-up.
