Abstract

AbstractThe lattice‐theory equations for the surface tension of polymer solutions based on the parallel‐layer model have been extended to include more than two components. The surface tensions of tetrachloroethylene solutions of some blended polydimethylsiloxane fluids have been measured at room temperature. The results are in nearly quantitative agreement with the theoretical calculations.
