Abstract
Gyroid metamaterials are chiral network structures that have the potential to be fabricated through block-copolymer templating. In article number 2200363, Bryan Cote, Vivian Ferry, and co-workers uncover the contributions of surface and bulk interactions on the circular dichroism spectra generated by this metamaterial design. Surface interactions are found to play a significant role in the circular dichroism of films of silver-infilled gyroid metamaterials. The dominance of surface interactions allows double gyroids to support strong circular dichroism.
