Abstract

It is demonstrated that the surface electron waves should exist in pure metals and weak magnetic field near the frequencies of the electron transitions between magnetic surface levels. Such waves are able to interact strongly with the Rayleigh sound vibrations. Spectra, damping and mutual transformations of the electronic and Rayleigh waves are investigated.
