Abstract

The surface (sorption) properties and structurization ability of disperse carbon black with different degrees of the particle surface oxidation are investigated. It is shown that the strength of the carbon black structure is affected by both the micromosaicity of the surface of oxidized particles and the presence of primary aggregates formed by the unoxidized carbon black particles.
