Abstract
Recently Venselaar et al. ( J. Colloid Interface Sci. 70, 149 (1979)) published a theoretical treatment describing the static-capacitor method. Surface potentials of monolayer-covered interfaces can be measured with this method. Experimental results obtained by the static-capacitor method are compared with those obtained by a conventional one, viz., the ionizing gap method. Agreement within experimental error was found.
