Abstract

The surface fields diffracted by an anisotropic impedance wedge at skew incidence are determined and studied using the Maliuzhinets method. The spectral functions for the fields are obtained using a perturbation approach, considering the normal incidence as the unperturbed configuration. The asymptotic expressions for the surface fields are derived. The asymptotic results are compared with the surface fields computed numerically along the steepest decent path, and useful conclusions are drawn.
