Abstract
Surface engineering is a critical knowledge-based area in the field of manufacturing and customer merchandise production. It comprises all the high and low technologies that tend to modify the surface of components/materials to provide a new surface. Constantly, industries are working to enhance the efficiency, component life, and effectiveness of high-tech technological processes through the concept of surface engineering.
