Abstract

The magnetizations of multilayers thin film described by the transverse Ising model have been investigated within the framework of the effective-field theory with correlations. The influence of the surface exchange coupling and the surface transverse fields on the magnetization and the phase transition temperature are studied respectively. Within a certain parameter, the magnetization obviously exhibit two compensation temperatures. Two compensation temperatures intersect and disappear with the surface exchange coupling or the surface transverse fields increasing.
