Abstract
Various surface charge characteristics of binder layers in polystyrene are discussed with special reference to their application in electrophotography. The binder layers are made with different compositions of and . From the measurements of such parameters as the charge acceptance, contrast potential, and the spectral sensitivity, it is concluded that the layer containing and in the ratio 60:40 by weight gives the most convincing results for its utilization in charge transfer electrophotography.
