Abstract
Four sonic spark chambers and their triggering and recording electronics are described. The effective area of the chambers is 50 × 50 cm 2 for three of them, 80 × 80 cm 2 for the fourth. In order to estimate the precision of localisation a test has been made using high energy cosmic rays.
