Abstract
Abstract An upper Jurassic and lower Cretaceous sequence in the Guelta wadi basin, northeastern Tunisia, includes a richly fossiliferous marl containing abundant ammonites of the middle Valanginian (lower Cretaceous) Kilianella roubaudiana zone. Berriasellidae occur in great variety; Lytoceratidae and Belemnitidae are represented by only a few individuals. Several ammonites are systematically described.
