Abstract
Abstract The discovery of new outcrops in the Ordovician of the Sees syncline (Orne) has disclosed the existence of a fossiliferous horizon. Among the trilobites collected is a new form of Phacopidellinae: Denckmannites praecursor n. sp. In addition, the stratigraphic study shows that the shale series above the horizon with Plaesiacomia brevicaudata and D. praecursor corresponds to the 'Grand May' sandy facies in the Ordovician of Calvados.
