Abstract

Tumors involving the third ventricle are rare. This deep-seated cavity is surrounded by critical neurovascular structures, making safe surgical resection of lesions in this region challenging. The supraorbital keyhole approach is a safe, minimally invasive technique that can facilitate a level of access to the third ventricle comparable to traditional craniotomies while allowing for minimal retraction of the brain and limited craniotomy.
