Abstract
Supramolecular hydrogel was selected as the carrier of ficin to form ficin@hydrogel. Then a simple ficin@hydrogel based sensor was made by using refills of gel pen, which was used for the detection of H2O2 and glucose. This sensor is convenient and easy to carry. Meanwhile, it has good selectivity and high sensitivity for the detection of glucose, and high utilization rate which still retains high catalytic activity after repeated use for 7 times. There are no expensive reagents and materials, nor does it need complicated operation process. Moreover, this sensor is green and safe, and has been successfully used in the detection of glucose in human serum. It indicates that ficin@hydrogel-based sensor has great potential in the detection of biological samples in the future.
