Abstract

S UPRACERVICAL pregnancy following hysterectomy is a very rare occurrence. There are reports of 6 cases of pregnancies following hysterectomies, of which 4 were tubal, 1 extrauterine and 1 in the cul-de-sac posterior to the bladder. Two of these patients died of hemorrhage ; two had the pregnancies removed by operation ; one had a 7 months’ child delivered by laparotomy, and one had a 6 months’ child delivered from the cervix.
