Abstract

Unsymmetrical and symmetrical two-wire transmission-line arrangements are discussed and compared with respect to their interference susceptibility. Improved multiwire arrangements with reduced susceptibility to electromagnetic interference are suggested. It is shown that for a suitable geometry and circuit design, it is possible to obtain circuits that suppress of all types of interference as well as termination by the characteristic impedance using a simple passive network. Design rules are given. >
