Abstract

Physiological and environmental support of the pediatric cancer patient are outlined and therapy of unavoidable iatrogenic disease is discussed. Psychological support of patients with curable and terminal disease, specific mental health problems in oncology, and psychosocial development of the child and the family of the child with cancer are emphasized.
