Abstract

Self-care haemodialysis is cost-effective and associated with better health-related quality of life in renal patients. Support for self-care is a core component of the management of long-term conditions. This paper discusses findings of a survey undertaken to gain knowledge of how to improve support for individuals learning self-care dialysis and also to understand how individuals overcome challenges.
