Abstract

The British Kidney Patient Association trialled an advocacy surgery pilot programme in 2016 to such great success that it led to a home therapy roadshow, in partnerships with trusts across the East Midlands and the industry. Nicholas Palmer discusses the importance that these advocacy strategies hold, and how they can be used to provide support and promote education in treatment choice.
