Supporting our members and the specialty-building an AAO for all practice modalities

Abstract

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) strives to support members in all practice modalities, promote the orthodontic specialty, and support patient and public health and safety. The business of orthodontics is changing. Nonetheless, the goals, initiatives and values of the AAO serve to advocate for every AAO member, whether they practice in an orthodontist-owned solo practice, a group practice, dental support organizations (DSOs), orthodontic support organizations (OSOs), a military health care facility or a hospital.
