Abstract
The purpose of this article is to provide key information to support decision-making related to the prescribing process, professional accountability and relevant legislation, in medical aesthetics. In line with the Department of Health and Nursing and Midwifery Council, the authors have used the word ‘patient’ rather than ‘client’ to ensure clarity and accuracy within this article.
