Abstract

This article describes a digital Open Conference-and-Publishing Platform designed to support scientific and educational activities in Applied Mathematics, Computer and Information Sciences. The platform is an infrastructure solution that includes a set of tools for organizational, methodological, information and technological support (OIT-platform), and is intended to intensify and improve the quality of research, innovation, scientific communication and training of scientific personnel in relevant fields of knowledge. The Platform represents an infrastructure solution including a set of tools for organizational, methodological, information and technological support (OIT-platform), and it is intended to intensify and improve the quality of research, innovation, scientific communication and training of scientific personnel in relevant fields of knowledge. The main principle of creating an IT platform is to combine methods and tools specific to traditional science with tools complying with the concept of Open Science. In particular, as a regular source of scientific products, the OIT-platform uses a package of highly rated thematic conferences as a part of the Congress “Modern Problems of Computer and Information Sciences” - a tool which is typical for traditional science, with the characteristic that these conferences are implemented on the basis Open Conference Systems and at regular intervals. And as tools for supporting scientific communication, scientific media, reviewing and disseminating scientific products, tools based on the Open Journal Systems technology are used. Such tools are the scientific journal “Modern Information Technologies and IT Education” and the online scientific journal “International Journal of Open Information Technologies” (INJOIT), thematically coordinated with the conferences referred to above.
