Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a descent in the situation and quality of life for older people. Social isolation, exclusion, lack of social contacts those are only few negative consequences. Therefore it was necessary to take actions to support this social group during their return to an active social life. The aim of this article is to present the complex support provided to seniors in the area of social activity. Presented solutions are the result of the activities of the social intervention model, which was tested from May to November 2022 in three municipalities of the Mazovian Voivodeship: the urban municipality of Przasnysz, the urban-rural municipality of Wyszogrd and the rural municipality of Boguty-Pianki.
