Abstract

There are many articles in the field of Supply Chain Management performance measurement. Most of them emphasize on the Balanced ScoreCard (BSC) as an effective methodology. BSC could be transformed from performance measurement to a strategic management system as well. On the other hand, high performance SCM requires making common strategic objectives across the chain, and managing the chain toward the objectives. In this article we present concepts and design of performance measurement, using BSC methodology, and the new approach to BSC as a strategic management tool. Finally we'll try to propose a prototype of strategic management model for SCM (SCSM), by transformed BSC methodology.
