Abstract
In this paper, the supervisory fault tolerant control (FTC) is used to stabilize a class of partial differential equations (PDEs) system in the presence of process and boundary faults ranging over a finite cover, described by parabolic PDEs. The FTC design relies on a supervisory switching among a family of pre-computed candidate controllers without any additional model or filter. The system is ensured to be stable during the switching delay, which ends when the correct stabilizing controller has been selected. Simulation results illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.
