Abstract

Cates has proposed that the breakdown of the current quantizations of Liouville theory at c=1 is due to the proliferation of “spikes”. We show that the supersymmetric generalization of a spike has a similar effect in the N=1 supersymmetric Liouville theory. We also discuss briefly the absence of a breakdown in the N=2 supersymmetric Liouville theory.
