N. Abstract Details are given of a second supernova remnant (SNR) discovered in the Small Magellanic Cloud. This brings the number of known SNRs in the Magellanic Clouds to 14. A relationship between flux density and angular diameter is established which may be used to estimate the distances to galactic SNRs. This relationship is dkp = 64(S408 ) 1/3 where d is the distance in kpc to the SNR, S is its flux density (in flux units) at 408 MHz, and 6 is the angular diameter (in minutes of arc) of the SNR.
