Abstract
Abstract The contact angles of rutile TiO2 prepared by anodic oxidation in an electrolyte with a high concentration of sulfuric acid is almost zero without UV illumination. The water droplet spread across the surface within 1 ms because of the strong interaction with the hydroxy groups.
