Abstract

The superfluid transition temperature of 3He film on 3He 4He mixture is calculated on the basis of the following model; i) Except for the pairing interaction present only in the pure film we regard 3He atoms as free. ii) The difference in the 3He density between the pure film and the mixture is realized by a square well potential. iii) The scattering at the free surface is specular. It is shown that down to the very thin films the transition temperature, especially of the 3P ABM state, does not change appreciably from the bulk value.
