Abstract

Several components on the Superfluid Helium On-Orbit Transfer Flight Experiment are analysed with respect to expected performance. The interaction of the components is then used to calculate an expected transfer efficiency. Steady state conditions are assumed. Transfer efficiencies based on the thermomechanical pump range from 96 to 99% +. Transfer line parasitics lead to lower efficiencies at low flow rates.
