Abstract

A canonical generalized-supertwistor formulation of the superparticle action is given, which provides a natural construction of the quantum superparticle wave function in unconstrained superfield terms. The superspace is considered as a space of parameters of the supercoherent states defining the basis for oscialltor-like UIR's of the superconformal group SU(2, 2| N) the basis being fixed uniquely by satisfying the spin-shell constraint. A possible superstring action is proposed in analogy with the superparticle one.
