Abstract

Maximum supercurrent I c passing through S(Nb)N(Cu doped with Mn)s(Nb) proximity system has been measured down to 30 mK, in order to investigate the relation between the superconducting proximity effect and the Kondo effect. It is found that I c can be measured below 0.4 K within our experimental accuracy. The temperature dependence of I c may be explained by the spin flip scattering of the conduction electrons by Mn impurities and the RKKY interaction between Mn impurities.
