Abstract

Recently, there has been a renewed interest in supercritical-fluid chromatography (SFC) as an alternative technique for the rapid and efficient separation of non-voltatile or thermally labile compounds. In this contribution the potential of SFC is investigated, the current status of instrumentation is reviewed and areas for further research are identified.
