Superconvergence of discontinuous Galerkin methods for time-dependent partial differential equations

Abstract

We briefly review some work on superconvergence of discontinuous Galerkin methods for timedependent partial differential equations, including parts of research findings in superconvergence of finite element methods explored by Professor LIN Qun. A survey of related advances on different types of superconvergence results for various time-dependent partial differential equations is provided, and perspectives for future work are described.
