Abstract
Sum rules for Compton scattering from ${J}^{P}={1}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ and ${\frac{3}{2}}^{+}$ particles are derived using methods similar to that of Pagels and Harari. With appropriate pole approximation, several relations involving radiative decay widths of vector mesons are obtained.
