Abstract

We report the effect of Ni substituted for Cu in the high-Tc-superconductor YBa2Cu3O7 on bulk Tc, pressure dependence Tc(p) and thermopower S(T). As the coherence length of YBa2Cu3O7 is supposed to be rather short and highly anisotropic, we discuss effects of the random distribution of a small concentration of impurity atoms on the superconductive properties.
