Abstract

In this paper, the antiperovskite nitride superconductor ZnNNi3 with Tc∼3 K was synthesized by a solid–gas reaction route and the same was crystallized in Pm3m space group. We also investigated the magnetization, superconductivity and surface morphology of the sample systematically. Interestingly, by means of zero-field-cooling (ZFC) and field-cooling (FC) magnetization, we can see the trend of the sample from ferromagnetic state to paramagnetic state with the increase of temperature. In contrast to the strongly ferromagnetic at low temperature, the ZnNNi3 sample exhibits very soft and weak ferromagnetism at room temperature.
