Abstract

We measured the transport properties of a-axis oriented YBa/sub 2/Cu3O/sub y//La/sub 0.7/Ca/sub 0.3/MnO/sub y/ (YBCO/LCMO) multilayers to study the effects of layer coupling on the superconductivity, magnetoresistance and anomalous Hall effects. The decrease of flux pinning in the YBCO/LCMO multilayer causes the diminishing of sign reversal of Hall coefficients. The normal state magnetoresistance was found to depend on the coupling strength of ferromagnetic layers.
