Abstract
The superconducting (free) Thirring model with local ${\ensuremath{\gamma}}^{5}$ symmetry is considered throughout an operator formulation. We establish a local isomorphism between the algebra of observables and the algebra of the massive sine-Gordon field (massive Schwinger model).
