Abstract

We calculate the critical behavior of the electrical conductivity, the specific heat and the diamagnetic susceptibility in the mercury chain compound Hg3-δAsF6 above its superconducting transition temperature Tc on the basis of the model recently proposed by Sugiyama, Gutfreund and Weger. In contrast to their result, the electrical conductivity behaves as 1/\\surdε with ε=ln (T/Tc), which is characteristic of three dimensional systems. The other two quantities also behaves as 1/\\surdε. The contribution of the superconducting fluctuation to the specific heat is enhanced in comparison with the usual superconductor case. On the other hand, the magnetic susceptibility is either suppressed or enhanced according to the direction of the applied field. The correlation length, the linearized TDGL equation and the GL free energy density up to |Δ|2 are also obtained.
