Supercapacitor Electrodes: Investigation of Charge Transfer Kinetics of Polyaniline Supercapacitor Electrodes by Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 1/2015)

Abstract

In article 1400154, P. S. Lee and co-workers develop a strategy to probe the localized interfacial kinetics at the interface of an electrolyte/supercapacitor electrode using Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy (SECM). The image shows the electrochemical microelectrode probe approaching the polyaniline supercapacitor electrode and the recycling of mediator on the interface. The microscopic kinetic data determined by SECM is correlated to the macroscopic electrochemical performance of PANI electrodes.
