Abstract
The paper provides some findings of the investigation aimed at determining the required values of the rigidity index of superabrasive grinding wheels as one of the machine tool elements in the course of machining. Standard grinding wheels are shown to have a certain rigidity margin; critical values of this parameter are discussed.
