Abstract
Early childhood is a time when the development of healthful eating and activity behaviors occurs; thus, it is a critical window for obesity prevention efforts. A number of obesity prevention interventions targeting children have demonstrated short-term nutrition and activity behavior change.1,2 Although interventions may be effective in helping individuals achieve temporary behavior change, it is quite difficult to maintain these changes.3
