Abstract

Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) experience higher rates of cardiovascular disease (CVD) events and mortality. The risk of peripheral arterial disease (PAD), as measured by ankle-brachial index (ABI) is also increased in CKD. The prevalence of reduced glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and a low ABI increase with aging. In this study, we assessed the association of biochemical parameters, eGFR with ABI in ICKD cohort.
